Evergreen Electronics Inc. offers a two (2) year standard warranty on computers and laptops purchased from us beginning on the date of shipment. This is subject to the conditions and limitations described below. This warranty applies to original purchases made in the United States. Monitors, LCDs, parts, and accessories purchased from Evergreen Electronics Inc. are covered by our standard ninety (90) day warranty. The following consumable items are not covered by our warranty if opened: new printer ink, new toner cartridges, new CD/DVD media, new retail packaged software, new downloadable software, new batteries, etc. If unopened, Evergreen Electronics Inc. will accept returns up to thirty (30) days from the shipment date.
WARRANTY COVERAGE SUMMARY:
- We offer a two-year warranty on computers unless otherwise noted.
- Monitors, LCDs, computer peripherals, and parts have a ninety(90)-day warranty.
- Refurbished Chromebooks sold by Evergreen include a one (1) year parts replacement warranty. Brand new Chromebooks include the standard OEM warranty.
- We do not warrant new consumable items once opened.
- We only accept returns for refunds within the first thirty days. No refunds are available after thirty (30) days.
- We only approve refunds after receiving, inspecting, and verifying the functionality and completeness of all returned items.
- After thirty (30) days, the customer pays for return shipping costs for repairs. We will return items for valid warranty claims at our expense (via ground transportation).
- We charge a 15% restocking fee for all remorse returns within the first thirty (30) days. This fee may increase based on the condition and completeness of the returned items. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- This limited warranty is non-transferable. It is assigned to the original purchasing entity listed on the invoice. Selling, donating, trading, or otherwise transferring ownership will void the warranty.
BATTERY COVERAGE:
- Evergreen Electronics guarantees our laptop batteries will report as good/excellent in the BIOS upon receipt. We will replace a failed battery (one that will not hold a charge or is not recognized by the laptop) within the first (1) year of ownership. Batteries are consumable items and will degrade over time based on how the user operates the laptop, environmental conditions, screen brightness and/or power management settings.
- Evergreen Electronics captures battery serial numbers. You will need to report the serial number to us to initiate a battery replacement claim. We may ask you to return the battery to us. Once we confirm battery failure, Evergreen will send you a replacement battery during the first (1st) year free of charge (Client is responsible for the battery installation). If you prefer us to handle the battery replacement and installation, we will cover the labor and shipping both ways for a flat $60 one time fee (Sales tax may apply depending on your state).
- Chromebook batteries will report as good/excellent in the BIOS upon receipt. If your Chromebook battery completely dies and is not recognized by the unit, Evergreen will ship the client a replacement battery within the first 90 days of ownership under our parts replacement warranty.
WHAT WARRANTY WILL NOT COVER:
This limited warranty does not cover damage that results from improper installation or operating environment for the product and/or accessories; damage that results from impacts with other objects such as drops and falls; liquid spills or immersion in liquids; software uploads that result in malfunction; service not authorized by Evergreen Electronics Inc.; usage not in accordance with product instructions; failure to perform required preventive maintenance; accidents, abuse, misuse, and/or neglect; natural disasters such as flood, fire, earthquake or lightning; problems with electrical power such as power surges; and problems that result from using parts, components, services and/or software not supplied by Evergreen Electronics Inc. We will not provide warranty coverage if the serial number has been removed, altered or defaced.
This limited warranty does not cover damage that results from the customer’s failure to back up data or other files, nor does it cover damage caused by programs, data, viruses or other files. Evergreen Electronics Inc is not responsible for any loss of data and recommends that customers maintain a back-up system at all times to rebuild or reconstruct lost or altered files, data or programs.
SUBMITTING WARRANTY REQUESTS:
This limited warranty covers repairs or replacements, at Evergreen Electronics Inc.’s discretion, for defective or damaged products returned to us. Servicing your product outside of Evergreen Electronics Inc. will VOID this warranty. To request warranty service, contact Evergreen Electronics Inc.’s Support Team at [email protected] or by completing the Warranty Request Form located on www.evergreenelectronics.com. When submitting a request, please have the following information available: customer contact information, order number(s), serial number(s), a description of the issues(s), and the product part number(s). Valid proof of the date of original consumer purchase, including the serial number(s) of the product(s), may be required before warranty service is provided.
How to Receive an RMA:
If Evergreen Electronics Inc. determines that a warrantied product or part is defective and requires either a repair or replacement, we will issue the customer a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number for the return of the defective product or part. Evergreen Electronics Inc. must receive the defective product or part within thirty (30) days from the RMA issue date. The customer should ship the defective product to Evergreen Electronics Inc. using the original box and packing materials or equivalent packaging method.
Return Shipment:
Evergreen Electronics Inc. will cover the payment for the return shipment of the repaired or replaced product or part. Before shipping the product(s) to Evergreen Electronics Inc. for repair, back up the data on the hard-disk drive(s) and any other storage device(s) in the product(s). Remove any removable media, such as diskettes, CDs, or PC Cards. If you have any questions, call Evergreen Electronics Inc. at 512-715-4273 for assistance. Evergreen Electronics Inc. uses new and reconditioned parts made by various manufacturers in performing warranty repairs and building replacement products. If Evergreen Electronics Inc. repairs or replaces a product, its warranty term is not extended, and will expire at the original expiration date.
REFUNDS, EXCHANGES or REPLACEMENTS:
Please note, we will not issue any refunds, exchanges, or replacements for returned merchandise until a Evergreen Electronics Inc. technician reviews your returned product(s), verifies the reported issue/problem, and confirms it meets all criteria for a valid warranty claim. If the technician believes the issue isn’t covered by the Evergreen Electronics Inc. warranty, or if no issue/problem is found, a member of our customer care team will contact you to discuss next steps.
EXCEPT AND TO THE EXTENT EXPRESSLY SET FORTH ABOVE, WE DO NOT OFFER ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND EVERGREEN ELECTRONICS INC.. EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES NOT STATED HEREIN.
Evergreen Electronics Inc. may deny warranty service if your payment is past due. ALL PAYMENTS OWED MUST BE CURRENT TO RECEIVE WARRANTY WORK.
